LEAP Into Native Gardening

Is your garden a ‘bar’ that only offers nectar to adult butterflies but no food for their offspring? Do the birds and bees visiting your garden have everything they need to raise the next generation? Join for this lively discussion as we explore the best California native keystone plants for sun and for shade, and the many ways we can boost biodiversity in our gardens and beyond.

First Fridays at CuriOdyssey

March 1, 2024

Celebrate Pi(e) Day at CuriOdyssey for the March First Friday and join for 3.14159 times the fun! Dance to some of your favorite pop and rock hits while enjoying animal presentations, tacos from Lilo's Kitchen, and savory pizza pie from Mozzeria. Kids will be able to color in Pi Day-themed stickers to take home. Activities and programs are different each time, so make it a monthly tradition!

City Council Adoption Hearing – General Plan 2040

March 4, 2024

At this initial adoption hearing, the City Council will receive a presentation of the General Plan 2040, the Final Environmental Impact Report, and Climate Action Plan Technical Update; collect and consider public input and the Planning Commission’s recommendations; and review these documents and provide direction to staff, as needed, to ensure that the General Plan is ready for adoption. However, the Council will not be taking action to adopt General Plan 2040 or certify Environmental Impact Report at this meeting.

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Hybrid Format (remotely via Zoom and in person at City Hall Council Chambers), 330 W. 20th Avenue

Complete Streets Plan Workshops

City staff will be hosting community workshops focused on the citywide Complete Streets Plan. These workshops will focus on the proposed priority corridors identified through the Plan and progress to date, as well as proposed multimodal improvements. The workshops will also cover the improvements in the specific district they’re hosted in, but residents are welcome to join any workshop they’re able to attend and share feedback for any location in the City.

Time: 6:00 PM -7:30PM

Districts 1 and 5: Thursday, March 7 at City Hall

Districts 3 and 4: Tuesday, March 12 at Fiesta Gardens International School

Summer Camp & Swim Info Night

March 6, 2024

Recreation & Exploration Expo

Camp directors and reps from San Francisco Peninsula and Bay Area summer activity spots will unite from in Macy's Center Court. Gain insight from professionals catering to a wide range of ages and interests.

Clue On Stage - Hillsdale High School Drama

March 21, 22, 23, 24, 2024

Join Hillsdale Drama cast and crew for a fun outing! Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
