Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble Run, Kids' Dash & Pancake Breakfast 2022

A Runner’s Mind, the Bay Area’s local run specialty store, is proud to present the 8th annual Gobble Wobble. Join us at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo on Thanksgiving morning for a 5K celebrating friends, family, and community as we ARM up and give thanks! Sign the little ones up for Kids’ Dash; money raised from the $5 registration fee will support the Lakas Shimizu Foundation.

Draeger’s Redevelopment Heads to Council for Vote

A mixed-use development has been proposed for the current Draeger's Market site downtown. The City Council will hold a public hearing to review and vote on the redevelopment at 222 E. Fourth Ave. Attendees can participate remotely or in-person at City Hall. Instructions on how to join the meeting will be posted to the Public Meeting Portal at least 72 hours in advance.

San Mateo County Consolidated Plan Meeting

December 1, 2022

San Mateo County is updating its Consolidated Plan, next year’s funding plans in preparation for a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), and HOME-ARP Allocation Plan to address housing and/or community development needs.  We need your input to make sure that the challenges you are experiencing are included in the plan. Come share your thoughts on housing and community development issues and how the County should prioritize funding!
